Southport Fire recently responded to a mutual aid fire call in which the residents lost everything when their home burned. Town officials from Caswell Beach helped organize efforts to assist this family and worked with Southport Cares to help the family when they were down on their luck. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring from neighbors and friends and the donations were very well received by the family in need.
